Lesson 6- Developing Basic Digital Skills

C
- New generation learners are more attracted to internet works, they become fully alive when these matters are given emphasis. The basic digital skills (solution fluency, information fluency, collaborative fluency, media fluency, creativity fluency and digital ethics) are the skills that the students must develop in order for them to be competitive. These skills must be given emphasis and we should integrate these in the outputs that the students will do if told.
E
- These skills are great influence not only to the new generation learners but as well to me. The basic example is my making of a blogpost. My teacher integrate technology in our learning and he is enhancing our creativity fluency. In the past semesters also, we are able to produce our own brochures, videos, advertisement, etc. that are very challenging and very enjoyable. These things can also be taught to the new generation learners, just basically with the use of microsoft office and anything that is in range. In this way the teachers will be able to make their students be discovery learners.
R
- I saw how the technology influenced skills that had not been discovered in the past generations. These skills might particularly be the key for our own improvements. The digital learners are needing teachers that will integrate teaching with technology.
A
- Simply, in order to get the attention of the students we must be able to help them enhance the basic digital skills. As future teachers we must also be creative. These skills are of great help in letting them pass their assignments. These skills also promotes higher thinking skills. Although the use of  technology is time consuming sometimes but still these are what the students need. A great teacher always finds way to make his/her students improve.
