Lesson 16 The Internet and Education

C
- Internet and Education are being engaged today. Why? Because students nowadays can easily get information from the internet. This lesson includes the introduction to internet, how is it used and a view of educational uses of the internet. Unsurprisingly, when we get an access to internet we can easily get information from different sources. Today, schools are gearing up to take advantage of internet access. Educators are finally been realizing of how much internet can help develop quality of learning. By internet we can go to other places, know their geography, can have a virtual reading partner and many other more!

E
- Imagine how we can communicate to our families living in other countries without internet. Imagine how we would know the climate when we don't have technology. Internet access helped me a lot. The assignments, requirements, sources that the teacher will let us do, depends usually on the internet. Without internet I might not be able to post this blog, without it I might not know what trends today or what the current issues are, I might not be able to communicate with my friends also, and I might not be as well get reliable sources for my reports.

R
- In a proper way of using internet we can help our students improve their works, get information, play an educational game where they will enjoy and at the same time learn. Truly, internet could suffice our needs in information. In the future teaching career it is important to understand the capabilities and special use of internet. We are using internet today, how much more in the future? It is just a matter of deciding whether we become slaves of internet or controlling our usage in it.

A
- I begin with a negative notion to internet, that it can just distract people from learning but as the time passes I have realized that it could really help teachers and students, we just have to limit and control ourselves in using it. An internet a day makes teaching and learning healthy!
